Joints cracked but holding, cloth tape reinforcements on inner hinges, some light browning and occasional spotting, dampstaining in volume 2. Item #408263

FIRST EDITIONS. Volume one is signed on the title by Petrus Stuyvesant (1727-1805), the great-grandson of the British Colonial Governor by the same name. Volume two is signed on the front free endpaper and title by colonial statesman and Revolutionary patriot Robert Yates. Evans 6897 and 9213; Tower 624 and 625.
