SCARCE FIRST EDITION, one of only 400 privately-printed copies, most of which were distributed to members of the club. The Saint Andrews Golf Club in Hastings-on-Hudson, New York is the oldest golf club in the United States. John Reid of Dunfermline, Scotland, founded the club in 1888. It has existed in its current site since 1897, and features an 18-hole golf course designed by golf course architects William H. Tucker and Harry Tallmadge. In 1983, the track was refurbished by legendary golfer Jack Nicklaus.
