A fine fore-edge by the celebrated English artist and collector John T. Beer, with an unusual inscription: Beer has labeled the scene on the outer edge of the rear turn-in, on the leather not the paper. Therefore the title is visible with fanning the fore-edge. Weber - Beer 62.
