LIMITED EDITION, one of 10 artist's proof, signed by Jim Dine, one of 15 copies for Enitharmon from an edition of 30. Designed by Dine and Ruth Lingen. Dine wrote the poems in Paris in the winter of 2013, and drew the images directly onto lithographic plates using crayon and tusche in Walla Walla, WA in July 2015. The lithographs were printed in New York by Nina Dine and the letterpress by Rith Lingen. Printed on English vintage handmade Whatman and Head papers.
Dine "draws on his childhood memories of his grandfather’s hardware store in Cincinnati. A source of inspiration because he spent time there on weekends and vacations, developing a fascination with tools which inspired his series of tool art. As a result, this is a unique and personal artist’s book – made with the keenest attention to detail. Furthermore, it is a revealing tribute by Dine to his influences and his past" (the publisher).
