FIRST EDITION, FIRST ISSUE, a rare proof copy before changes to the title. A CHARMING SERIES OF PLATES of ornaments, grotesques, wall and ceiling decorations, interlaced ornaments, etc., executed by the gifted designer and decorator Carlo Lasinio from Treviso. These ornaments were taken from various buildings in Florence, originally designed by the most famous artists of the early and later Renaissance: Cosimo Feltrini, Bernardino Poccetti, Michelangelo, Giov. da Udine, Benedetto da Rovezzano.
